About Me
I was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, and upon graduating high school enrolled at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts to major in Film & Television Production. After three-and-a-half semesters at NYU, and one semester studying abroad in Dublin, Ireland, I graduated in 2008 with a BFA.
Since then, I have worked in New York’s Film and TV industry, with jobs ranging from pre-production and research for reality television, to assistant teaching at NYFA, to commercial post-production, where I am now and have been for the last 2+ years. As a full-time assistant editor at Crew Cuts Editorial in Manhattan, I’ve had the opportunity to work on high-profile projects with leading agencies and global clients, as well as embrace my love of short-format video, advertising, and graphic design.
In my free time, I run a website called Bklynography which aims to be a source for thoughtful content emanating from and embodying today’s Brooklyn.
I am available for freelance photography, as well as for-hire video projects. I own my own equipment and am essentially a one-woman video production operation, able to carry every phase of creation from production to post-production and delivery.
My personal passions include comedy, good books, food (all kinds!), and travel.
